On a chilly December night in 2024, I got to perform at Yalda: A Gathering of Light in Marin County, and honestly, it was such a beautiful night. The space was warm and cozy, filled with people laughing, talking, and celebrating the longest night of the year together. There were candles, music, and that special feeling you only get at cultural gatherings like this.
When I got on stage to sing, the energy in the room felt so soft and full of love. It wasn’t just a performance — it felt like being part of something bigger, something warm and familiar. I loved every second of it, and I’ll definitely remember that night for a long time.
